Recommendations for a laptop to use in our sanctuary to play videos. We have a small sanctuary. We will need tech support for it.

Our A/V team uses Macbooks. What is the set up? Video monitors, projector, etc? We've got a whole control board set up, but the computer is a Macbook pro.

The tech support you likely need will not come from a computer manufacturer. Try to find a local computer repair shop that will give you a 2/3 hour a month bucket of hours in exchange for an ad on the back of a program for an event you throw, or something like that.

Having "Apple" or "Dell" or other support your hardware and the operating system really means that as soon as you mention any software or A/V adapters, etc., that they did not install at the factory, they will stop talking to you about that issue.

Canvas the congregation for someone in the industry. It's a great way for a member to serve.
