The four part documentary is about the four U of Idaho students that were murdered in 2022. Has anyone started watching it yet?

I turned it off. It was boring, or I wasn't in the right frame of mind to watch it. It was about the victims lives, with the parents interviewed, and how great people they were from the bit I watched.
The one on Peacock was more interesting to me. It was closer to the court case, crime scene details, & the killer's history.

The 48 Hours episode on YouTube encapsulates the tragedy.

I finished episodes 1 and 2 and parts of it are humorous. You have the true crime doc cliches of “something like this doesn’t happen here”, “this is Idaho and not the east coast”, and the “I don’t think I’ve ever locked my doors here because this is Moscow, Idaho.”
The friends of the murdered seem extremely immature and bring drama into the way they talk about the event. For example, they were scared someone would come into the Kibbie dome and shoot up the vigil, and they were scared every time a twig would break thinking someone was going to kill them. I know someone close to you recently got murdered, but come on.
