2 deathtrap games in the first 3 games of the season though breaking in a lot of new players chemistry wise. You never want to see a talented team like LSU play really good teams early because it always takes awhile for that chemistry to get meshed together with the roster turnover from the portal.
It's absolutely silly that LSU schedules early season games like Clemson. If you want to play them just throw them in your gauntlet through SEC run. At least by then your team should be fully coming together. Florida is getting overlooked but they're more than good enough to beat LSU even at home. Clemson doesn't have a ton of portal players they basically just developed their guys so they're probably going to be less sloppier than LSU game 1.

How is Florida getting overlooked? By being around #10 to start the season? If we lose to Clemson then Florida is a must win. If we beat Clemson then we really need to beat Florida because we have a fast track to the playoffs.
Furthermore, Florida is sandwiched between La Tech and SLU. In what world and why would we overlook them? Is Florida talented? Yes. Did LSU completely collapse last year and allow them to pull away? Yea. Is this game at night in Death Valley? YEP.
LSU isn’t losing a home game this season.

That Florida game last year was putrid. If LSU is locked in, we should beat Florida by 2 touchdowns.
