It’s one of my favorite nights of the year, the DONG DERBY!!! Safe money seems to be on BIG DUMPER, but after seeing the prize, I might have to put a little scratch on Smooooth Jazz.

Anyway, thread. Who will crank the most dongs tonight and be crowned DONG CHAMP? Who will have the longest dong? I’m going to say Smoooooth Jazz wins it, and BIG DUMPER cranks a MASSIVE 475 foot DUMPY DONG.

Who we got chat? I expect it to be a solid Derby, but I don’t think it will come close to the LEGENDARY (shoutout to Shady Sanders) 2017 Derby with the HISTORIC performance of THE JUDGE, who DEMOLISHED the competition, cranking MASSIVE JUDGEMENT DONGS at a FEROCIOUS pace that a mere mortal could not fathom. In a star-studded field that included current teammates BIG G and Belli, The Punisher stood tall as always and proved why he was already the best player in the league and the Face of Baseball.

From a betting perspective, Oneil Cruz will without a doubt have the highest exit velocity tonight.

He opened up at +115, which is where I got him, and he's down to -135 now.
He's +155 for the longest homer, but i'm not as confident in that one, even though I should be if he has the highest exit velocity.

More bets:
50% boost on DK
$20 on James Wood +675 after boost

No sweat bet up to $25 on ESPNBET (They seem to have the best odds on most guys)
$25 on Rooker +1000

Fanduel is giving $1 for every HR hit in free bets on your choice to win it
$25 on Cal Raleigh +330

and I put $15 on Junior Caminero at +1100

Raleigh
Chisholm
Caminero
Cruz

Regular bat:
James Wood
Matt Olson
Brent Rooker
Byron Buxton

Is the format still the same? I liked 10 outs better than the time limit thing.

Booo.

Josh Hamilton hitting 28 homers in that one round in 2008 is probably one of my favorite sports memories. Such an epic round. Knowing you only have 10 outs puts a ton of pressure on the batter IMO.

Hamilton’s performance was incredible. So good that nobody remembers Justin Morneau won the Derby and also scored the winning run in the 15th inning of the ASG.

I think Caminero is the sneaky good pick. Like his betting odds

What's going to happen the NYY and the Mets once that commie mayor gets elected and takes 75% of their earnings? Theyll be begging to get traded. Better win this year or it ain't happening after that

They hit more than 28 in some rounds now. And in just 4 minutes, not 25.

I hear you, but everybody was complaining about how long and slow the Derby was before the clock. That’s why they changed it.

I would enjoy the build up and the added pressure of only 10 outs. It’s essentially BP these days. Kinda dumb IMO.
