The man has been building custom guitars for a long time. He has year's long waiting lists for his stuff
He bought my Marlboro guitar.
It is a really well built guitar, except for the plastic parts, I changed all that for brass and bone. He loved it.
It feels like one of the best compliments I could ever have.

I wish I did, and I meant to do that.
I was going to list it on reverb, but decided to hang it on the wall at my friend's shop in the meantime. I got this new Hummingbird guitar Wednesday and took the Marlboro guitar over there on Thursday.
They called me to come by the shop yesterday because he was there.
So I went by just to visit, I hadn't visited the man in a while because his wife has been having health issues and he's been busy with that. His shop where he builds, is at his house.
When I went in, he was there playing the Marlboro guitar, he had bought it already. My friend just handed me 6 new Bemjamins.
I was kind of shocked really.

I've been wanting to buy one of his guitars for years, but I can't really afford one, even if one was available. I never imagined he would be buying one from me. Weird stuff happens I guess.
He really liked the brass nut on it. He said he had never even considered doing that but really liked how it sounded and he thinks he's going to try that on one of his own guitar builds.
