I am trying to branch out with my fish preparations and purchased Chef Tenney Flynn’s “The Deep End of Flavor”. Have you made any cookbook purchases recently that you are excited about?

*use the collection of recipes here quite a bit (Thanks StadiumRat)

The last cookbook I bought was one by Pati Jinich on Mexican cuisine. I learned a lot from it and use some of the recipes.

For the most part, I hear of a dish that sounds interesting, review several recipes online, use the Copy Me That app to capture one and modify it as needed, and then try it.

I'm a big fan of Copy Me That.

What Peruvian dishes do you make? I've done pollo saltado.

I've done pollo and lomo saltado (lomo is my favorite non-ceviche dish), a number of ceviches, and a few chifa dishes (mostly the fried rices)
