As a fan of a particular team I dislike it. However cost of living is climbing all the time. Why wouldn’t a guy fresh out of high school set himself up for life when going pro isn’t a guarantee?

I like when some of you put your feet in someone else’s shoes not knowing how they grew up or how you’d pass on 1m dollars because of what you’ll make later. Freaking laughable. NFL is never guaranteed but that money in front of your face is.

As an aside, Cathedral HS from Los Angeles has a three star quarterback committed to Sacramento State. They play John Curtis in California.

Yall are crazy as hell lol. I can tell you right now that none of the other schools are offering CLOSE to what he is getting at Sac St. It always makes me laugh like people haven't seen baseball players since forever come out or high school and take a million dollar deal for pro ball, and may be in the minors for as long if not longer than he would have been in damn college.
Nothing is ever promised. I'm not going to get on a guy who is comparing 750k from a school who REALLY wants him, to 250k or less and he may be the 4th WR in their class.
That kid can make his money for 2-3 years, and there is always the portal if he has actually become decent.
