Rectec Flagship1100 or the Weber Searwood. Does anyone own one?

One of my current pellet grills needs to be replaced at the house. I’ve got a Camp Chef at work, Traeger at the house, and a ZGrill at the camp. In my opinion all three do pretty good. I read where this Reqteq can get up to 700 degrees. My biggest complaint about a pellet grill is I occasionally would like to get them over 450 to 500 degrees.

Don’t have the 1100, but love my 700.

I’m guessing this is replacing the 700. What is the highest temperature you can get your 700 to?

I have one. It does get to 700°. Get the grill plates too. Love mine. I use it a few times a week.

Love my recteq but I still have a charcoal grill for when I need to get that hot. There’s just no substitute

I get that on the BBQ grill. 100% agree. I’m kind of cramped for room under our covered patio. I thought about looking at the Weber Searwood. Have not a clue what that is, but I heard you can do a lot of different things with it. Apparently it has accessories to be some kind of smoking and grilling Swiss knife. Technology appears to have advanced some since I last purchased a pellet grill/smoker.

My RECTEQ RT700 has been amazing....I use it 3 nights per week and on weekends....
About 450F is as hot it will get safely.....you have to careful with flameouts at high temps, especially with fat meats....

I’ve personally never had that happen to me, but my boss somehow caught his pellet grill on fire. I think some Boston butt grease got down under the drip pan and the next cook was something like wings that he turned the heat up at the end to crisp the skin up. I’m sure that was a sight to behold watching my boss try not to burn his house down.
