Had one today at a company function. They make you sign a waiver before you eat it, which I thought was a bit of theater. It was hot, but not the hottest thing I've ever eaten (went to school with some kids fro. Thailand....)

I'd call it an 8.5 outta 10 on the heat scale, but I'm the guy that takes shots of ghost pepper sauce outta the bottle.

The worst part wasn't the mouth burn but the indigestion/nausea for a couple hours afterwards. I finished the slider but passed on the tender after a couple of bites because I didn't want to hurl at a company function.

Oh and for my first bite my coworkers had their phones out ready for a reaction that never happened. (My eyes involuntarily watered about 1/2 way thru....)

Anyone else ever tried them? Experiences?

Had Dave's for the first time a week or two ago. One each of the Medium and Hot sliders. There was a noticeable step in heat between the two. I like spicy food, and the Hot was impressive for fast food. Had me sweating a little. Don't think I'd be interested in trying the Extra Hot, much less Reaper.

They weren't bad, just a little pricey and overall kinda mediocre otherwise.

Off topic a-hole coming in, the hot and whatever they call the hottest at Chicky Sandos is pretty spicy. But it’s run by middle easterners and there is some other seasoning in it. That will run through you like shite through a tin horn. You’ve been warned.

Dave’s is famous for being inconsistent in their spice level. I’ve had the reaper where I was cuddled up in the fetal position for two hours and other times where it didn’t effect me at all

Being a franchise, I can see that. The guy at the counter tried multiple times to talk me out of it and the manager came to check on me after a few bites.... I could see the reaper dust on the tender.

I did regret touching a napkin to my eyes when they were watering. Even though I was very careful to use a "clean" on every time, I must have had some on my fingers. Honestly the eye burn was worse than the mouth burn.

Didn't get Dave's yet, but the Reaper at blazin hot chicken is hot.

More butthole hot than mouth hot.

Time for the morning constructional. Kinda a non event. Maybe I got a weak one?

ETA: Round 2 was a little different story, but not TOO bad.
