First of all it was not bs at all. Secondly Pearl stepped out of the coaching box which is automatically a tech. Thirdly the reason Johnson was out of bounds was b.c he was pushed out and no call. So stop your crying take the loss like a man and move on.

the only reason he was in that position was because he was pushed in the back, and that wasnt called. so its a wash. refs were horrible tonight tho. on both sides. they were letting players get away with murder down low and calling ticky tack fouls from medium to outside range. the only thing consistent in SEC officiating is that its all bad. for all sports.

That said, he's certainly got the basketball excitement level back up at Tennessee, so you've got to give him credit there. I don't know much about his X's and O's, but from everything I read he sucks in that department and the style of play that he likes to play isn't suited to win titles consistently. Would have never happenned and I like Trent Johnson, but I would've been excited about a Pearl hire at LSU.

yeah tennessee has been much better since he's been there. i'm sure he's a good coach but he is one annoying man when he is courtside. seems like a whinny baby. yelling at the refs after virtually every play. i dont even think i saw trent johnson or an LSU player complain once the whole game. i'm sure it happened but i didnt see it. and we got screwed on many calls too. so kudos to LSU for keeping their cool all game long.

Yes I saw the shove in the back of Tasmin Mitchell before the timeout, and also Chris Johnson being shoved out of bounds on the play in question on the T called on Pearl. Seems to me Tennessee got the benefit of the calls on the inside all night.
