Take the trip buy the dessert!!

In 2023 while watching Tommy white walk off to put us in the final my daughter who had wanted to go up that week said “see we could have been there” I told her find tickets to at least the Sunday game and we will go cause it may be the last in our lifetime.
We left Friday at noon bought SRO to Saturdays game and ended up watching all 3 games and swore we would go back if able to.
Fast forward to this year and the wife had a business trip already planned and me and my daughter was going to go but then she couldn’t get off off work so I had resigned myself to not going at all. After the “bear miracle” she text me and said what if we leave sat at 2pm when I get off of work?!.
Bought tiks drove 10hrs to rifgt outside KC slept 4 hrs jumped up Sunday morning and was eating breakfast at 11am at the hook and lime behind Rocco’s. Best feeling in the world rifgt up with killing a monster buck or seeing your children born is being in that stadium for a championship win

Brought my boy this year; we had an incredible time and made memories that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

My son had just started a new job and couldn’t take off in 2023 and was in the middle of a turnaround now so he hasn’t been. I told him in 23 that I owe him a trip that he can cash in on whenever he can make it finally.
