Blah…. Game 1 was good with a buzzer beater sure. But the rest, just predictable home teams exchanging blowouts and tonight’s game 7 was a tough watch, not good basketball. And the finals lasted June 5th-June 22nd, way too drawn out. That’s 17 days of having Stephen A and Kendrick Perkins shoved down your throat. The league is dying I’m afraid

ESPN will look back at these ratings and think "man those small market teams really killed us"

And Doris Burke will just sit there nodding like she's not the most awful thing about these finals

Compare that to the nhl finals who played within 48 hours of traveling from south Florida to fricking Edmonton Canada

I agree that ESPN is ruining the NBA with Screaming A Smith and Perkins speaking bad English coverage all day. Plus, how they are going to ruin Inside the NBA is inevitable.

Enjoyed the Finals other than game 7. Nice to see new teams in it. Found myself cheering on the Pacers and watching every game.

Too long? NHL Stanley Cup was about same amount wit long travels. The College World Series was like 2 weeks with 2 weeks of regionals. That is 4 weeks and you are aging the NBA Funals is too long ? Good thing you don’t watch March Madness.
