It’s the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen. We are fricking LSU baseball. They never have a problem sucking off Bama in football or Duke in basketball.

Not when it comes to teams like Bama and Ohio State. They are quite comfortable, still rooting for those blueblood teams versus any underdog. They just don’t like LSU and I don’t know why. I just don’t get it. I mean, we have the best college experience and football and baseball. We also have the best fan base that’s very passionate. These are very marketable things for a school. Our fans also travel well. The only thing I could possibly think that it could be is that we’re just not a blue blood school we’re not one of the original Blue Bloods..

Exactly and the Skipper literally made college baseball marketable. ESPN owes him royalties on all the TV deals. They get for every college baseball game because before him college baseball was not popular.
