Once one of the gumps shows up, they oughta be able to do an easy search on a premium site like the one available on TSD (it breaks down expected attrition by classes).

Nice link Miles Fan, thanks -- missed that info in previous searches.
In updated enrolled rivals rankings they only list 26 of the 32 signees making it on campus. Maybe they knew the baseball talent were signing contracts all along. Recruiting those kids does have its advantages in setting up future contacts. You can build relationships with local coaches and create a buzz for your program with local kids that look up to those athletes. Stirring the pot to get the national media talking about the recruiting class ranking too, imo probably a combo of all factors. But when you trying to rebuild a program that was horrible for 10+ years I guess you use all the tools you can.

Wow, according to that link, Bama will have to "manage" away about 30 kids to get to 85. LSU on the other hand looks to be only about 5 over not counting transfers. 5 is a managable number but 30 is absurd. No way in hell that many kids will transfer on their own.
