Flooding in Arkansas

Anyone else impacted by the flooding? Based on what I’m seeing and hearing, more than 30% of the crops in NE Arkansas are ruined. The entire town of Grubbs is still underwater.
Many farmers are not planting this year. I think it could be a very rough duck season…. Trying to figure out alternatives. Any old timers ever recall a season where just no crops were put out?

I'm not flooding (thank God), but it's wetter than a frog's arse at my house. Lots of Mexican squealers and bec croche in my pastures. Might as well be the marsh with as wet as it is.
Good luck to the flooding victims.

This flooding occurred in April, some will replant not sure how many but some will.

You are hearing right. It has been pretty rough up there and places farther South.
I don’t know how much “Ag production” is lost unless it is acres susceptible to flooding some/most years. I heard the White isn’t expected to get out until mid August. Duck food will probably be great as long as they don’t crap the bed and kill what moist soil is there.
It rained like 20 something days in May I think.
