I was there. Opening game, lost 2-1. Bregman booted a routine ball in the 9th to score the go-ahead. Katz homered early and they scored - I believe - two unearned runs. Painful game. Nola (** edited) was on it.

Yes. Christian Ibarra smashed a ball that went like 200 feet with those poo bbcor bats and Bregman had a bad error late in the game that gave up the winning run. Both of UCLAs runs were unearned.

Ibarra hit a couple of balls that night that would’ve left the Box easily. TD Ameritrade just stood there, growing grass and laughing at him.

UCLA figured it out in 2013.
Just throw high fastballs and they’ll die at the track.
They also small balled teams to death.
They didn’t hit a hr in Omaha in 2013.
The bbcor bats and Omaha were terrible for offense.
