Awesome night for Recruiting the Military BUT

NewsMax keeps showing commercials of vets with their hands blown off, missing arms, missing eyeballs, half blown off faces, etc asking for donations
This parade event was probably not the best time to show that commercial several times during this event lol

We should hide what happens when you go to a forever war for DC?
Only a fool would let their kids serve and fight for DC.

I know a lot of ex military that didn’t fight one single ounce of war during their time in the military and they are all living pretty friggin’ good lives today

Since we are not involved in any wars now, I guess we have not had a "forever" one yet.

This says a lot about your experience. I know many from our deployments that aren't "all living pretty friggin’ good lives", some aren't living at all.

Should they not be told what war is actually like and why we don't wanna fight one? War is hell...

It won't take long for your side to get us into another forever war. I'm glad Ukraine didn't work out for you after 20 years in Iraq and 20+ years in Afghanistan.
