Will the Tigers make the NCAA tourney?

I've been lurking for a while and thought id sign up and get an account.
Do you guys think that our Tigers have a really good chance to make the NCAA tourney? The West isnt very good how much will that hurt us?
Just curious, and please keep this a "ranter" free thread. Serious replys only.

And yes. We hung in with #10 Xavier, lost by only 10 after having a HUMUNGOUS drought. I think that was a wake-up call for us and we should arrive to the "Big Dance" in a strecth limo.

I thnk the Tigers make the tournament. They win a game, maybe two. My guess is, that's as far as they go. But college basketball is weird, sometimes a team gets hot and goes far. LSU has the kind of team that could get hot. The lack of a big guy in the middle will be a problem.

they need to win 9 of the last 12 and 1 game in the sec tourney to make it in my opinion.

LSU's current RPI is 78. They have not beaten a team in the top 50 RPI. Their best win was against S. Carolina(RPI-61). Next best win was Ole Miss(RPI-80). They only have 3 games remaining against teams w/ a better RPI than them. Tenn (RPI-21), Fla(RPI-28), and Kentucky(RPI-48). The only way LSU makes the tourn. is if they win the West and still then they may need to win a few in the sec tourn. LSU will more than likely lose 2 of 3 against Tenn, Fla, and Kentucky, which leaves them with only 1-2 quality wins all season.
