Not related but I play golf here in the DC area who was from Texas....he is a really great golfer even at over 70...

I asked him if he was always this good and did you win State or get close. He laughed and said he was at best 3rd on his team 95% of the time.

I joked did you play with Ben Hogan, no he said, my teammates were Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite

They were teammates at University of Texas.

My son had a team mate on his high schools
golf team convicted of murder as well. Could have been me.
