I love me some Victor David Hanson!
quote:
Los Angeles erupted in riots over ICE deportations this weekend—and Gov. Gavin Newsom called enforcing law and order “reckless.”
Victor Davis Hanson breaks down the staggering hypocrisy from California’s leaders, the Mexican flags flying over violent protests, and what the American people really think, according to new CBS polling on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”
“ Fifty-four percent (54%) of the American people are for continued deportations. So, you know what is really reckless Gavin? You know what is chaotic? It's you.
“ You're going to lose the optics—Democrats, Left and immigration protestors—if you have a lot of people here illegally and they're waving, not the American flag, but the Mexican flag, as they're committing acts of violence.”

Really sad that only 54% of Americans support continued deportations.

Hanson must make a shitload of money. I believe he teaches at Stanford. I would be long gone if I couldn't make a healthy profit above and beyond State, Local taxes and living expenses. California is beautiful, but it's run by idiots

It’s more than that.

Yeah, the caveat that the MSM refuses to addendum to their story is that an additional 23% of Americans feel that even more should be being done according to the YouGov. poll released. Which puts it at a whopping 77%.

Fresno State too. He runs or ran one of our programs. Still lives and farms around here. Imagine having the reach and connections that he does and riding your bike around rural areas and farming your own land. That’s keeping yourself humble and in tune with the challenges of the Everyman.

It’s really actually surprising that there are 2-3% who were capable of independent thought that caused them to answer honestly.
In our society, generally, peoples’ political ideals and values are informed solely by their political party or leaders.
Nobody aside from the mentally insane really believes its moral and acceptable to murder innocent children, but half of our population will say that it is because that’s what their political party and leaders tell them to say or say that they believe.
Nobody aside from the economically-stupid really believes that we should increase spending and debt when we know doing so is pushing us further into economic collapse, but they will support it when their political party or leaders tell them to do so.
Likewise, no one really believes we should just allow people to come into our country illegally or not deport those who do and virtually all people on both sides of the aisle would have told you the same thing for the entirety of the history of our nation… until their political party and leaders told them otherwise.
People are sheep- the stupidest of sheep.
That 2-3% could find the independence to answer honestly is actually decent considering that.
Independent thought isn’t quite dead. Now, let’s do spending bills.
