And almost hit it in the water from 75 yards when he could have locked up the title with a flip wedge. Choke city.

Burns has been no where close to the #1 putter this season. He's been actually bad for the past 2-3 months leading up to May. Try watching golf other than today

His buddy Scheffler would NEVER have missed that straight in 5 footer on 18 on first playoff hole, or 3 putted on 18 to lose. Big big difference in Champion vs good player.

He three putted to lose after missing two other putts to win. He fell apart at the end with the putter.

You said he has been putting bad, you dont get to the top spot in putting on tour by "putting bad"

I feel horrible for Sam, he's one of the best players in the world and hadnt hit a shot in two hours. Had to be brutal to get back into tourny mode under that kind of pressure. The 62 was ridiculous to be there in thr first place.

But thats what separates the Scheffler's and greats in the game from the others. They make those, hopefully he grows ftom this one.

Maybe you ought to pay attention a little more. They say he’s statistically the #1 putters on tour every weekend.

He wasn't #1 going into the RBC Canada Open. Jesus Christ.
