Elon always loses it on twitter and can flip on people in a heartbeat. And when he does he holds grudges.
Probably pissed that Trump didn’t cut Sam Altman out of the Saudi deal like he wanted. Elon thought he bought a president. Then he got contracts frozen, his green energy subsidies removed, dealerships burned, friend not confirmed at NASA etc.

He even admitted the other day he doesn’t agree with Trump on some things and agrees with others on this issue (may have been Elon or Rand or Massie- I can’t remember), but he won’t express it on this forum because he believes himself to be the protector of Trump’s reputation and polling.

Agreed. He could have said, I respectfully disagree and left it at that. Trump would have probably just respected it and moved on. But he kept on and Trump being Trump said some somewhat harsh things (like he wasn't going to do that).
So, both sides responsible really. Trump is the way he is. Elon should know how Trump is.
So, we have a shite show. Democrats can't really exploit this one event but several of these events, you bet your arse they can.
