Recs for Handgun Safety Class - Southwest Lafayette Area

Hi,
My mom (late 60s) is looking to purchase a handgun for personal protection but wants to take safety classes first and hopefully try different guns as well as part of that process. Does anyone have instructor recommendations I can give her? She is located in the southwestern part of Lafayette Parish.

Sentry Defense were nice to deal with on gun purchases. I believe they offer ladies classes as well.
