Matthew Goode and a bunch of recognizable actors. I've watched the first episode, and half of the second. Really gripping so far. Goode plays a real a-hole cop going through some shite (the first 5 minutes that explains it is a real attention getter) and as a result is demoted to working on cold cases. My only worry is that he will have to learn his lesson that being amazing at your job isn't an excuse for being a bit of a jerk, and that a bunch of minorities and women will "tame" him.

How did the antagonist (son/brother of Merit's highschool boyfriend) end up being her kidnapper? Was he not also the reporter that Merit slept with? What happened to his "dead eye" from the police videos taken years ago?
