We need a real hitting coach…

We’re aggressive when we should lay off and we’re passive when we should be going after it.

Explain in detail what our approach is, what it should be?

These posts are so dumb.
You have no idea what the approach is. You have no idea what the game plan is or what the scouting report says.
We've had a top offense in America for 3 straight years and have been good, not great, this year.
You people have got to stop with the "we need a hitting coach" nonsense. It will never happen. Jay Johnson is the hitting coach and he's regarded as one of the best hitting coaches in America for a reason.

Bear Cub in a miserable slump closing his eyes and swinging as hard as possible trying to bit a 9 run homer.

Pitch selection is fine. But I’ve seen a bunch of guys roll over on a fastball with two strikes and hit a pull side ground ball. Two strike approach is shite right now. Need somebody to let the ball get deep and go the other way.
