LOL
You must have wrote tha article.
All three guys he boasts about are on your team.
FWIW I would NOT take Durant third overall.

i knew he was going to be a top-10 fantasy player

Maybe.
I know he is a good player and all. But from a fantasy basketball perspective I know 2 things will diminish a players value come playoff time.
1. Being frail and breaking down towards the end of the season - Granted he hasnt done that yet, but his frame could lend itself to it.
2. Being 40 games under .500. NBA players are NOTORIOUS for packing it in. And again, there is almost a case to be made for the teams like OKC and LA Clippers that they are SOOOOO bad that the younger players are actually increased in value.
Al Thornton and Eric Gordon are exponentially more valuable due to their teams shittiness.

Do you remember what KG looked like his rookie year? Durant is never going to be shaq, but he'll fill out a little.

it's so easy to say that now. when healthy, i like my team better, even after jake tried to give you the title.

but he isn't a banger, so his frame isn't a big issue at all. I don't think he missed a single game at Texas, and maybe 1 or 2 games in his first 2 years in the league. seems more durable than average.

even more than the player, would the TEAM pack it in if they are in a race for the #1 pick? Would they just rest Durant for any little bump he would otherwise play through? That really could be a wildcard. good point.

He is saying if OKC is in the shitter with 3 weeks to go and Durant has a tweaked ankle he will sit rather than play through the pain as to get more ping pong balls.
