The 2025 PLL season gets started this weekend from Casey Stadium at Univ. of Albany, right in the heart of First Nations Territory/Upstate New York.

With all of the roster moves, I definitely think we see the PLL grow to 10 teams for Summer 2026. The talent is out there. Just need to keep growing the TV/streaming audience.

is this the year Pro Lax finally becomes mainstream?
I want my son to play Lax when he is old enough (I played hockey) but the PLL with the traveling teams not tied to a city really set back outdoor LAX a number of years. Also PLL went too woke during covid. didnt they have a team of all gay dudes?

Unfortunately this won't be the year. However, then new ESPN deal WILL help increase coverage leading to more funding & eventually Korea participants.

I’ve noticed more ESPN coverage lately and I’m glad for it. Lacrosse is a great game that deserves more exposure. My son plays and I’m an assistant rec league coach. I love it.
