Great book. Dalton Trumbo wrote it and also the screenplay for the movie which he directed too.
He was one of the blacklisted Hollywood Ten and actually went to jail for a while.
He was the screenwriter for Spartacus, The Brave One, Roman Holiday.
Good movie about him Trumbo with Bryan Cranston playing him.
