Well, we lost another one this past Tuesday. Lynn played football and baseball for the Tigers from 1960-1962.

RIP big fella

He was also a pitcher for the 1960-1961 SEC championship baseball team. Lynn played professional football for the Edmonton Eskimos and then went on to have a distinguished career as a professional and college football coach serving as offensive coordinator for a number of universities, including LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, USL, Texas A&M, Florida, Texas, and Mississippi State. He was a really good man. He was a neighbor of mine at one time. A fun guy to talk to.
RIP Lynn

He was also a pretty solid LSU assistant coach for several years.

I still remember the Auburn game… he was offensive coordinator… kept calling for passes across the middle … don’t remember who the qb was … but he threw 3-4 pick 6’s and LSU lost that game. Thought he was over his head coaching

Jamie Howard and all we had to do was run 3 times and punt. Our defense wasn’t giving an inch.

I know it’s unfair but that’s how I will remember him- terrible OC in the Hallman years.

I remember Lynn completing several big passes to TE Billy Truax in the Cotton Bowl win.

RIP Tiger.
