Nada Surf is one of the most consistent and underrated bands of the last 30 years.

I am jamming Moon Mirror at one point and then Let Go and then Lucky and they’re all consistent and solid.

I get that most bands “evolve”, but it’s nice to have a band that finds their formula early and sticks with it. Good to know you can buy a bands album and it won’t be some new “evolution” - you’ll just get more new tunes similar to the ones you already enjoy.

If you haven’t listened since “Popular” or “Let Go”, you’re missing out.

I really liked that record that Matthew Caws made with Juliana Hatfield under the name Minor Alps...

Seen both (NS and JH) many times. Will still happily travel to see either.

Try this Minor Alps:

They’re a band I always kinda forget about. I need to change that. I haven’t listened to much since The Weight is a Gift.

You could start an entire thread about JEW. Clarity, Bleed American, and Futures will always hold their places in my heart, and since then it’s like Adkins is a machine at writing consistently good, catchy pop/rock.
