It’s the 6th inning, there’s no need to play for one run. Stanfield is not a bad hitter at all. Stop attempting to give up outs and just let the boys swing away.

I don’t mind the situational bunting, I just cannot stand the two out bunting especially with runners on base.

Stanfield struck out. 5-2 is better than 4-2.

I dont even mind a good drag bunt with no strikes and less than two outs.

These aren't "called by JJ" bunts. These are kids trying to bunt for hits on their own or messing with the pitcher on a 3-0 or 3-1 count. You can tell when it is a sac bunt called by JJ.

Huh? We don't bunt with 2 outs ever unless somebody is trying to bunt for a hit because of positioning.

Bunting with the infield in and runners on 2nd/3rd one out is what is stupid as frick. Especially when you don't know if 2 (or 3 runs if you are successful) will be enough to win considering we have no clue if our next pitchers will even throw a strike.

Stanfield was 1000000% called.

Bunting for a base hit is almost never a problem. Sac bunting is for losers.

Yes, which is why I made the post. Stanfield’s bunt attempt was called by Jay

It’s quite different hitting with an 0-0 count and an 0-2 count

Well it's not 5-2. 6-2 is better than 4-2 and 5-2.

Good luck getting them to comprehend this.

Could've used another run Thursday night.
