I don't have a Ronin but I do have a Springfield 1911. Fit and finish is great.
Which caliber are you looking at? 9mm, 10mm, or .45? You'll be happy with any of them I believe.

I have a Ronin 45 ACP Commander.
Very Accurate.
Eats everything.
Zero FTF so far
Wilson Mags and SA mags
Very accurate and manageable recoil.

I have many 1911s, including a 5" Ronin chambered in 45 acp. I've put 800-1000 rounds of various ammo through it. Not one single issue. Springfield makes incredible 1911s in the $900-$1,000 range.
My favorite 1911, though, is my Magnum Research 5" chambered in 10mm.
