This was posted on the OT. I guess a part of POK-EEE-STAAAAAN has decided to secede from the rest of Paki. Per the OT, it is a section that is close to IRAN and has connections to IRAN. I asked this on OT and no responses.
If this is accurate, how many Nukes does this area of Paki have and will these be given to Iran based upon the supposed close ties?

They have to catch them all. I heard Pikachu has turned into a nuke.

From what I was able to gather, this region in Pakistan is rich in oil and rare minerals.
So much so, it is the richest region in Pakistan, and the part China is interested in. However, the people there live in some of the poorest conditions.
The Pakistan Army has also been accused of killing journalists that speak out, kidnapping and raping the women from that region (nothing new for Muslims after they have to slaughter their goats), and the people there have been fed up with it for some time.
A good video covering this can be found here:

Balochistan as a cultural/ethnic area is split by the Paki-Iranian border with some in Afghanistan (Helmund, home of the Taliban).
It's even split culturally because they are Sunni, but speak Iranian/Persian for the most part.
Under the Mughals they were semi-independent because they could choose to swear allegiance, not be forced to. The Mughals were kind of like "whatever dude, we're tired of your shite". Then came the British with zones of control and lines on maps.
There's a brief history. They have always been independent with a strong draw to Iran because of that history. The Pashtun tribes (most of S Afghanistan and Pakistan) are viewed as rivals so even when aligned with Pakistan (or India before the British left) they kept each other at arms length.
Most of the focus during the war on terror was on Paki's NWFP, but Balochistan was just as hard to control here in modern times.
In step the Chinese and the port of Gwadar. Even though they tacitly support the Pakis because of India being a greater rival, they have no qualms about stabbing the Pakis in the back. That's what they have done because of this port. It was actually done a while back when the Pakis asked for Chinese help in securing the independent minded province... and now you see where that got them.

Many years ago the British controlled half the word. They can't even control their own country now days.
