That exhibition by our relief pitchers in the 9th is going to be the reason LSU doesn't go very far, if they don't. Really pitiful attempt at pitching in the 9th inning.

If Yeskie didn't know that Schmidt couldn't throw a strike when he went out to visit him, then he knows nothing about his pitchers. He also called a fast ball down the middle by Rizi on 0-2 pitch. If he teaches his pitchers so little that they don't know that, then Yeskie is just guessing out there.
I have been travelling this weekend and couldn't post, and only was able to return home to see the 9th inning...and what a display of relief pitching and pitching management that was....yeah, I knew more than Yeskie in the 9th inning, for sure!

I know he called a Fast Ball, and if he had taught his pitchers to not throw it over the plate, then they wouldn't have. They just throw, they don't pitch.
