I would say peak Pelicans Uniform era moment was right here.
Boogie manned Toni up and they were deadly in the paint. There is a world where this pairing would have worked really well and these two would have attracted free agents. Maybe Jrue would have stayed? It was very exciting, until it wasn't.
Watching Buddy in the playoffs this week has me thinking about what we gave up for this and how it was so worth it at the time. I don't think we will ever have another trade like it again.
