Warriors would kill the Bulls. The 98 Pacers took the 98 Bulls to a game seven. Reggie’s movement was a problem then, Curry would be an even bigger problem. Not to mention what Durant and Thompson would do. This is an all time bad matchup for the Bulls as they could not exploit the lack of size the Warriors had.

Warriors win in 5.

Lakers win. We saw these series play out. When Shaq was motivated to be in shape he was unstoppable.

Lakers in 6

Celtics with Walton are probably the only team outside of early showtime Lakers who could beat the 2010’s Warriors. The big lineup of Gobert and Kat gave Jokic problems. Imagine having Bird, Parish, McHale, and Walton rotating in a game.

Celtics in 5

Last one is a toss up. This years Lakers team was very flawed, but Karl Malone is probably the most overrated player of the last 35 years. People treat him like he is a top 10 player, he’s not even top 25.

Probably Jazz in 6

90s Bulls get killed by a bunch of superteams. They won in a watered down era due to expansion. If they played in the 80s they would need to go add a better center. Rodman isnt stopping Kareem.

To me the 4 best teams are 2017 Warriors, 2001 Lakers, 1986 Celtics, 1987 Lakers

Warriors with Durant were the biggest cheat code the league has or ever will see.

They win this entire tournament going away. There is no need for further discussion

Most people who think the 90’s Bulls were great were under 10 or not born yet in the 90’s.

90’s Basketball was bad.

MJ was great, but there are ten players playing today better than Karl Malone, Gary Payton, and Shawn Kemp

Agreed with a lot of this but most people would agree Karl Malone is one of the most underrated players ever. Maybe not top 10 but absolutely top 25 and there’s no debate. Did he bang your wife back in the day and you’re salty bc of that?

Thread is littered with ignorant takes that posters got from other people. Posters who never saw most of these teams actually play.

You’re asking people who don’t know anything about basketball to give you intelligent basketball answers. Malone could play center in today’s game and have the exact same numbers or better.

This team gets wrecked by the best modern teams. The Warriors would WRECK them.

I don’t think people realize how overrated the Jordan Bulls teams were.

It's ridiculous. They must be very young and didn't get to watch guys like Jordan and Malone in their prime.

I’ve seen these people make these arguments before. They don’t know anything about the NBA past 7-10 years ago so they just parrot things they’ve read online or seen on YouTube from nutty fans making dumb and factually false arguments.

There’s a word for that, it’s called projection. You are the one talking out of his arse. You didn’t watch those past eras so you have no frame of reference yet you don’t approach the take with a measure of doubt so the only person exhibiting “brainwashed” behavior in this thread by definition is you.

I'm a big Steph fan. It would be tough.

Pippen would give Durant fits. Then you have to hope Klay and Steph are red hot. If the jump shots aren't falling, the Warriors would be screwed. With today's rules, MJ may average 50 a night.

First off the teams mentioned have different versions. 90s Bulls were two different teams the first and second 3 peat who played different styles just like the 72 win Warriors were a different team than the Durant led team so which are we comparing?

First 3 peat Bulls team was a high pressure 94 foot team who was up and down the court with a lot of transition basketball. The second 3peat was a half court team that suffocated you on D with size and relied on execution on offense in their half court. The first Warriors title team relied on Bogut and Green stopping everything near the basket and perimeter scoring with Thompson playing in the mid post a lot on offense. They went to a smaller lineup and more scrambling D with the second version which wasn’t nearly as good defensively. These are big changes but the dolts on the board think they’re all just one thing.

No, but did he bang you?

Karl Malone is not even top five power forward.

Duncan
Garnett
Dirk
Giannis
Then take your pick of Barkley or McHale.

Here is a top 25 in no particular order. You tell me who he is better than

Chamberlain
Russell
M. Malone
Shaq
Olajuwon
Jokic
Kareem
Walton
Duncan
Garnett
Dirk
Giannis
James
Bird
Erving
Durant
Havlicek
Leonard
Jordan
Bryant
Wade
Curry
Thomas
Johnson
Robertson

Who is Malone better than on that list?
