I have respect for the office as a Catholic, but Francis was one of the worst popes in a very long time. We have had popes with moral failures, but Francis purposely confused the faithful. He was purposely ambiguous on so many issues.

How does the unbroken line of succession happen when there is an "illegitimate" Pope in place for years? About 600 years ago, there were three Popes at the same time and I don't know how that succession works in such cases.
