Restaurant suggestions in Lower Keys

I hope to get off the dock in Sanibel soon. Sailing the lower FL keys for 2-3 weeks. I’m interested in restaurants on the water where I can dock & eat.
I have a 4ft draft and 50ft mast that may limit me in some places. If it’s “that good” I can anchor out and dinghy in. I don’t plan on anything North of Marathon…this year

Chiki Tiki at burdines marina in marathon has great food on the water and the best fries ever.
Sharkys on key colony beach has a great happy hour. We park at both places with our 23 foot ski boat but there’s always bigger boats around.

I left BSL,MS 2/17 for arrival 3/1 staying Sanibel Marina 3 months. Ins Co will not cover me in FL coastal water during hurricane season.
Last year we were in Cape Harbor Safe Harbor, Cape Coral but the Chiquita lock is closed until June.
Trips to Keys, Dry Tortuga’s from Sanibel.

Hey greenie, I’ve eaten at the Hog fish right next to Mel Fishers boats but didn’t see any dockage, I’ll check it out, the hog fish is great.

Can’t help too much with lower keys but lived on Sanibel for a few glorious years. Gramma Dots was always a nice spot for draft beer and fried oysters - right in sanibel harbor.
Doc Fords is a good place as well, great bar and good food. Of course the best bar on the island was the American Legion but not sure they are back to regularly scheduled programming. Cielo about the only nice restaurant on island anymore but it was always solid. Traders not bad in a pinch. Way better options in Naples.
Miss that corner of the world.

Yeah the DQ apparently not coming back/trying to sell the property. Still have my house over in Beachview Estates; hope to get back one day.

Geiger Key is a good suggestion. I looked at the charts and I may need some local knowledge or dinghy in because it shows shallow water.
