Just remember, he asked Powell to lower rates and Powell cried like a bitch and “resisted.”

Let's see how long he continues with this posture.

Yeah, this was posted last night. It's insanely risky if it's the plan.

Bessent literally said they are doing this on purpose to lower the 10yr yield

This microwave society will never understand Trumps moves. You got the ones who want results immediately and those that don’t see the results immediately and think it’s a gotcha.
Just let the president cook and enjoy the results.

When the money flows from the stock market to the bond market and the yield curve is inverted (4.33% Feds Fund Rate and 3.9% on 10 year note is an inverted curve) it does not force the FR to cut the Fed’s Fund Rate (the rate banks charge each other on overnight loans). Inflation and employment are the two key metrics the Fed uses to make interest rate decisions.
However what the money flows into the bond market does, it lowers the cost of the $9.25 trillion that the U.S. Treasury has to refinance this year.
It is a deflationary movement and maybe in a few months after the FR sees lower than 2% inflation they will start to cut again.

It has already worked. The 10 year yield is at 4% and going lower. That was the goal.

I've been thinking how this is slowly letting out some air from a market bubble. Heard someone describe it as a "controlled burn". Trump has been planning/thinking about this for to long for it to willy nilly like so many naysayers on here think.
So does anyone have/know what all Buffett said about this move?? Not going to take this guys word for it.
But it is true we need to figure out how to take advantage of it. But how??
