I just talked to a busboy at walkons whose neighbors brother son is married to the sister of the head groundskeeper for the box and he said the game will probably get canceled

I have no idea what the tie breakers were that year, but we did win the series against Arkansas, so it's possible cancelling a possible game 3 win against SCAR resulted in us losing the west.
I'd say that year turned out alright, though
