Haven't posted any eye candy in a while, here's a custom build for a local client.
Copy and paste from my shop's FB page ...
And now the glamour shots ...

quote:
A second-generation P-bass body (think 1954-56) made of featherweight ash. Coated with a thin-skin 1960s vintage Cadillac "Daphne blue" nitro finish, with very light relic'ing.
And then a matching paint, rosewood board T head (!). Talk about a unicorn.
Not one but two Carondelet Single P pickups, and the bridge pickup is RWRP, so the circuit is hum-free when both pickups are engaged.
Look at the stacked knobs ... each pickup has independent volume and tone controls, meaning you can roll the tone down on one pickup without affecting the other.
It weighs a long-gig-friendly 8 pounds, 2 ounces and it balances perfectly on a leg or from a strap.
And now the glamour shots ...

Almost too much.
Lol. Just kidding.
Can’t be too much of that color. That’s why they used to paint cars with it. Back when cars were huge.
