Guys this is to be expected - this is a team composed of mostly new players and a lot of freshmen. The transfers incoming that many thought would be all world did not play against this level of competition.

quote:The transfers haven't been the problem. The problem is Shores doesn't have an out pitch and Texas is finding every single hole possible.

Does Texas play this good a defense when on grass?

Shores - when you start every hitter by getting behind, tough to get outs. Got to throw strikes early and often.

this should not be on the freshman pitchers. there are tons of other transfers that are not rising to the occasion. the one position player freshman is carrying his weight (Curiel).

Texas is good. LSU is good. The SEC is loaded. Any off game or weekend will make things look really bad, like this weekend. If the bullpen issues continue for the next 2-3 weekends, then get concerned. But LSU having a tough first road weekend against the #8 team in the country doesn’t mean the season is doomed. Some of you need to get a grip.
