Have a day off this week and want to get a round in.

If you could play one of these 3, which would you pick?
Have played Querbes plenty and northwood once or twice.

The city dropped 2ML in both Huntington and Querbes. I played Huntington about a month ago and it was pristine.

I’d probably hit Northwood. Just like the layout and scenery better and has a few “hills”. Querbes and Huntington are just blah IMO.

Have no clue on the current course conditions for any of those mentioned.

Northwood is crap now, don't play it, greens are in awful shape. My son has had 2 high school tournaments there and I wouldn't make the trip up there to play unless that was the only option. Huntington is the best option of the 3, Querbes is fine but it's always packed because it's in the center of the city, it gets a lot of play. There are a few greens with sandy spots. Course is in good shape though, short, about 6300 from the tips, not much trouble if you fairly accurate off the tee. Most of the trouble OB is right. There's a ditch that runs across 12 and 13, that's the only water hazard there. Huntington is in awesome shape, greens are really good and they have cut down a lot of trees which makes playing several holes much better. There are several holes with water and most of the trouble is OB left. Huntington would be my pick.

Don't play Olde Oaks, it's terrible and Stonebridge isn't bad, it's just $80 and it's not worth that price, the same guy who owns Olde Oaks owns Stonebridge and you can tell he's cheap and doesn't put much money in them. Not many options in the area. You could drive an hour from Shreveport and play Tempest, it's in the Longview area of Texas or better yet if you don't mind driving an 1hour 45 minutes, you can play the best public course in Arkansas, Mystic Creek, it is awesome, closest thing to Augusta I've ever played. Tall pines with undulating greens. It's in immaculate shape.

Huntington…played last weekend and greens are in great shape. I’m a member at Northwood and Poa annua is bad. It’s starting to die but it’s going to take a couple more weeks.

Huntington for sure of the three. Northwood has the best layout but it's pretty rough right now. If you want the best layout and don't care about conditions then I'd go there but overall Huntington is in the best shape. Querbes is fine and I'll always like it because that's one of the places I learned to play, but it's pretty bland.

Stonebridge in Bossier is another option.
