A closer is not the issue for this team. That role has clearly been filled by Evans

Na, no he can't. Primeaux isn't someone you want in that situation. He has proven at least 1 thing in his time at LSU - he's no good in high leveraged situations. Keep him far from the closer role and preferably keep him in the bench unless we're up by 10.

And you missed the part of my point where I explained it's not about a second pitch for him. The guy isn't good in high leverage situations. A 2nd pitch can't help him with that.

I agree and why I think a 2nd pitch might make him pretty effective.
I know we need strike throwers, just like we seem to need every year.
Always pitching behind in the count makes any pitcher much less effective.

Primeaux - nice kid, nice family….but he belongs on a ULL or SLU staff
