If LSU makes it I want to go but hotels are 700 to 1000 dollars per night near stadium.

Thanks

We went in 2023. Stayed across river in Council Bluffs. Much cheaper and really not that far away.

We have a gang going.

Booked an airbnb a few miles from downtown for $1800 for 5 nights.

Just gonna Uber to downtown everyday.

I looked into it a few weeks ago just out of curiosity and the local hotels are absolutely insane for those 2 weeks. Air bnb is the way to go, way cheaper

Prices will drop in about a month -- once some teams fans realize they don't have a chance in hell in making the tournament -- rooms will open up and prices will drop.

Happens every year.

Make friends with a local. I now go and stay at their home (basement room) for free. Bonus is they are CWS ticket holders for each year.

I booked an airbnb for the cws once and thought I was getting a great deal, but about a month before the cws the owners realized it was CWS week and they cancelled on me and reposted it for a higher price. I'd recommend if booking on airbnb months in advance that you send a message saying you're coming for the CWS so there's no surprises

I second this, Ameristar casino in Council Bluffs was reasonably priced and never paid more than $10 for an Uber to downtown Omaha.
