Is the bayou bash overrated?

I've been twice and both times I came away confused about why people get so excited about it and I ended up walking to the casino across the street out of sheer boredom. I understand any excuse to take off of work and do something (anything) LSU related is enough for most people, but I hear people RAVING about how much fun they have, and I wonder, am I missing something? Can someone enlighten me?

Couldn't have said it any better! But you did forget one thing. As bad as some people say the bash is.....it's still better then being stuck at work!!

Beer all day, good food, LSU football, go to the casino after all fricked up and lose money...Really doesnt get much better than that if you ask me. I love it and look forward to it every year...You must be a pretty big stiff
