Taking my first trip to Boston to drop off my kid at college. What are some must try foods and restaurants out there?

There are a lot of options. Where are you staying, what kind of food, and what price point are you willing to go to? There’s a lot of information on the travel board as well.

Close to the Northeastern campus/Fenway Park.
I want to try traditional food, not too fancy just what people eat casually

Eventide has a fenway location, I’d recommend going there for some wellfleets and a lobster roll. Eastern Standard is another great spot in Fenway. If you’re into beer, Trillium has a Fenway location as well.
There are a ton of places I’d recommend throughout the city though. I’m just listing some in the Fenway area to start.

Went to Boston last year and got the clam chowder from a small restaurant on the water called the Boston sail loft. Stuff was legit and I highly recommend it.
