Best SEC Baseball Road trip?

For those in the know, which SEC Baseball roadtrip in a Motorhome is best?

Technically not a road game, but I would say Hoover. On Campus? I'm trying to think which parks have decent RV parking.

Hoover is the one place we have been to with the Motorhome. Parking the Motorhome on campus is cool but if there are nice campgrounds close to campus that is fine also. I was talking to someone a while back that was talking about an SEC school that had an rv park real close to the baseball stadium and they even ran a shuttle back and forth. Just don’t remember which one it was.

The Dude in Starkville was cool for a day trip. Pretty nice deal there to buy a general admission ticket for $10 and if you get there early enough with a lawn chair and ice chest you can tailgate right there where you watch the game on the grass along the foul line. They have season ticket holders with boxes along the outfield wall with grilling stations in each and some are nice enough to make you a plate of whatever they’re grilling up to share too. Would love if we had a similar setup at the Box

can't speak on Motorhomes but Hoover was my favorite SEC tournament I've been to. Just something about the MET that is special. Always fun getting there early and just watching baseball all day.

The Dude is awesome, haven't been to Baum but it seems like a good time sans WPS.

I really like the look of Awwwbun’s ballpark, and have made some really fun FB game trips there in a RV. Having said that, I’d bet SC is a really fun baseball trip too…

quote:I’m sorry. The best we can do is a few sets of 30 year old raggedy metal bleachers that were moved directly from a stadium that has since been demolished.
Would love if we had a similar setup at the Box

I’ll second Dudy Noble. Great facility

It is Miss State all day. The best baseball atmosphere in the conference imo.
The downtown area is very underrated (how could it not be, most consider it a backwater dump) and safe to walk around. Old Waverly in West Point is a great golf course that has cottages available on property as well.
They have RV parking for football games in the shadow of Dudy Noble. Not sure they are publicly available for baseball, but I would do what I could to get in there. There is a KOA RV place west of town for overnight that is pretty cool but a good 5-6 miles from campus.
