Wholesale Nurseries open to the public (north shore)

I saw the post the other day about the nurseries in Forest Hill. There used to be a handful of these sort of operations (though smaller in scale)— mostly in the Folsom area— that were open to the public, and some very good deals could be had. Are there still any of these places around?

It's open to the public? Is it as good as all the google reviews make it out to be?

I’m going to check them out here in the coming weeks. I’ll report back. Deerfield used to be my spot, but since Miss Judy has gotten older, their offerings have become more limited.

They always had some good stuff and good prices and threw in some free stuff. But you better not be in a hurry b/c the gentleman there could talk.

No such thing as free.
Really though, you’re not lying. It was the same with his wife. Good people.

Did you ever make it out there?

It's definitely a nice place to visit and the prices are about half of what you'd pay at nurseries in town or the big box stores.
Just be sure to bring cash as they don't take credit cards. The closest place to get cash is the Dollar General down the road and I had to buy two packs of gum and pay two separate fees (two transactions) to get $80 cash back

I haven’t. Looks like I’ll be able to put off my wife until the fall and focus on more important things.
