Still trying to figure out AI and if it's worth spending time to try to learn how to use. In the meantime, I've been using deepai and playing a bit with it especially photo creations but also various chats.

Who would you AI gurus suggest for good art generation and perhaps a suite of chat options for the money. I don't mind a monthly fee of it's worth it. Have also used the bing generator but deep seems better. Curious what else is out there that might be a better deal.

If you know a little bit (like 15m) of Boolean logic, you already know how. Explicitly exclude things you don't want, explicitly include things you must have, and anything implicit will be left to the AI's interpretation, which you may have to further refine.

"Generate me a blue rhinoceros riding a bald eagle, but not dark blue. The bald eagle should not be less than 125% of the scale of the Rhino. The rhino should carry a modern American flag.
They both should be attacking a large mammal"

The things in bold are mostly explicit, the italicized part is more implicit and open to interpretation.

Another example might be, do not say, "Re-format and re-write my resume." What you would want to say is, "re-format and re-write my resume for a Director of Obscure Operating System Maintenance at an energy and chemicals company." Get the gist?

That's my retarded explanation for it, without going into detail on how AI figures that stuff out.

I feel like we should talk about this.

I was thinking about building a guitar recently. Decided, “hm. I can lazily feed the model, color details, pickup configuration, hardware colors and see one, because I’ve never seen one like I see in my mind”

And it created an entirely new body style but mostly got the colors right.

Playing around with AI art tools is honestly a lot of fun, but the learning curve can be a bit much at first. I tried out a bunch for cool photo edits and weird designs, but also messed with some that make music from scratch, since I was curious how far you can push these models. For art, I actually like mixing up different generators since each one tends to have its own "style," and paying for a subscription makes sense when you want more control or bigger images. Feels like every month or so a new AI pops up that's worth testing before settling on a favorite.

If you end up wanting to play with music or beats, you should check out an ai music maker. It's wild how much you can customize and tweak things, and it gets rid of worrying about copyright issues when making your own content.

For goofs this morning, I was chatting with ChatGPT on my phone via text. It was bizarre how natural it spoke. It's verbiage was very human-like. I can't help but wonder where this goes. I also think I might start using it from time to time on my work commutes just to get ideas out there, hear advice and just start my day off different than just listening to a podcast.
